There have been a few rumblings over the internet that the Elite ans it's accessories had been placed on sale before the April 29th street date. One site bought an Elite and opened the sucker up to see how it ticked. They are based in Minneapolis so I decided to try a few of the retailers near me to see what was on sale. My first stop was Walmart since they have a history of breaking street dates. I did see one accessory but no Elite or 120gig hard drive. Today, on my way to lunch, I decide to stop at Circuit City and see what they had in stock. Bingo, they had the new hard drive, controller and battery packs. They didn't have an Elite but they were sporting only one 360, a pro pack, so one can assume they are making room for the Elites. I picked up the hard drive, black wireless controller, black battery pack and headed to the cashier. There was an issue with entering the serial number of the hard drive but the sale went though and now I've got some new accessories to play with. I'll post some pictures later and let you know how the data transfer from my old hard drive to my new one goes.
