Xbox 360 120 GB HDD and Black Wireless Controller

Some will complain about the cost of the new external hard drive but I doubt many will complain about how easy the process is to transfer your data. The entire process took me over an hour and 20 minutes but 70 of those minutes where data transfer.

The HDD comes with a DVD and a transfer cable. The first thing they tell you to do is disconnect any components you have connected to the 360 and you need to use the back USB port on the 360 for the data transfer cable. I was expecting the process to require me to switch out the drives first but that's not the case. You hock up the data transfer cable to the new HDD and the 360 then put the DVD in the 360 and follow the steps. I had to click through a few options then once the data transfer started the screen said the process would take an hour and 10 minutes. A little over an hour later I returned to see the process was complete. I popped out the DVD, turned off the system and switched out the hard drive. There where a few extra videos on the drive but I still had over 95 GB free.

I also picked up a new black wireless controller and rechargeable battery pack. One thing I did notice is the controller has a different surface than the launch 360's controllers. So far I have not noticed a difference in games. I can only hope the that the wireless headset works better with it than the launch controllers.
