It had been confirmed by Microsoft that new Xbox 360 Pros (White box) will be including an HDMI port.  Some folks have already reported that the units are showing up in stores now.  The addition of an HDMI port will allow owners with a HDTV that has an HDMI port to play games and watch movies over pure digital connection.  Before over VGA or Component the signal would be converted to an analog signal that could degrade the signal.  The reason this is big news isn't just that HDMI is a pure digital connection giving you a better picture, it's that this is the new motherboard with the cooler CPU/GPU and quieter DVD drive. 

This new model should perform better and should have all the fixes that caused the XBox 360s before to fail.  With these new and improved 360s on the market people now buying a 360 shouldn't have to worry about having a 360 that is a time bomb waiting to fail.  The HDMI port is listed as a feature on the cover of the box.  So be sure to check for it before you buy a 360.
