So I just finished the BioShock demo and I was blown away.   This is a genetically enhanced FPS that looks absolutely amazing.  The second you start the game you are thrown into the world of Rapture and thrown back by the beauty of the environments.  This game captures the art deco style of the late 50s and mixes in some post WWII hysteria to create a world like none you've ever seen.  Right now you can download this game off of Xbox Live Marketplace but next week a PC demo will be coming out.  BioShock looks to be the best game released this year so you are only hurting yourself if you don't give this game a try.

The game starts out with an accident that happens to drop you off at the door step of an underground society known as Rapture.  They let be known early that the creator does not care for the US or Soviet governments and lets it be known that this city was created in a direct response to their policies.  All you know is the place has gone to hell and there seem to be two groups: the guys that are trying to help you and the ones that look like they've been playing a bit too much with their chemistry set. 

From there you maneuver around this broken down society and try to fend off as many of the bad guys as you can.  A lot of information is thrown at you in this first level.  You will learn about the special weapons that you can use and about the different folks that inhabit Rapture.  BioShock is one of those rare games that has a lot of thought placed into it and should be one wild ride.
