Link roundup

Here is a link to a very funny opinion on the Heavenly Sword demo on PS3.  Honestly this is one of those games that makes me want to buy a PS3.  I just don't want to pay $560 to play one game just yet.  The video ends with a look at the Resident Evil 5 controversy (which seems to have already dissipated).

Eternal Sonata now has an English language website.  I am really looking forward to this game but it comes out right around the time Halo 3 comes out.  These games probably appeal to very different core groups but I still think Eternal Sonata will have slow sales.  Hopefully it will see a jump in Holiday sales because it looks like a game that will appeal to gamers of all ages.

It seems that the Indian gamers are getting annoyed at Microsoft and it's not even because of hardware issues. It's because BioShock doesn't look to be coming to Indian until late October, two months after the US release.  There also seems to be a tiff over the the lack of 360 accessories and no Xbox Live service in India.

Maybe India will be happy to hear that they can now get an Xbox 360 Elite.  It only costs them Rs. 34,990 or $853.  Um, if you can afford to buy an XBox in India you'd think you could afford to import BioShock.

Seems EA is using the 360 as their lead platform for development.  This probably pisses off a bunch of Sony fans because this means the PS3 and PS2 are getting the treatment the Xbox got last generation.  Simple fact is the 360 has over 11 million units sold compared to the 4 million PS3s.  By virtue of a larger installed base they will sell more units on Xbox 360.
