Weekend roundup
Over the past three nights I've been playing BioShock almost
exclusively. I'm am almost half way through the game I think and am
already starting to see what may have happened in this fascinating
city. As you explore different areas in the game you will find audio
diaries of the people that used to live in Rapture. As you listen to
these they often give you different perspectives on how things went
wrong in the city and you begin to wonder if you are really working on
the right side.
The pacing of the game is very good so that you can move through the game as fast you you want. There are a lot of benefits with taking your time and searching all the rooms and dead bodies. As one would expect the game gets progressively harder and it even becomes harder to hack items as well. You can hack gun turrets, security cameras, security bots and safes to help you in the game. I'll probably could finish the game early next week but I will may just take a little more time exploring and finding all the hidden treasures.
I tried another new game from Xbox Live Arcade and was very disappointed. The game is Space Giraffe and it's a Tempest knock off with psychedelic imaging. The game just has too much going on to keep track of what is happening. I loved Tempest so I was disappointed this game sucked so much. If I was smart i would have just tried the demo but I bought the dumb thing. There's five bucks down the drain.
I did play a little Madden earlier in the week. I'll eventually go back to the game once the roster updates are complete and I'm playing with all the current Packers. It just feels weird to be throwing crossing patterns to Ferguson knowing he's no longer on the team.
I did finally catch the end of Season 2 of Carnival. I like the show but towards the end it did lose some of it's flavor. Not sure if there is a season three or not. They left it open but I thought I heard it was not coming back.
