Three Red Lights
In the end I'm really not surprised that my Xbox 360 fell to the lure
of the three red lights. My console was of the first batch off the
production lines with a November 30, 2005 born on date. I sent my
console in once before when I got one red light last March. That
process was very smooth and didn't take very long for me to get my
console back, about 11 days.
This time around I went to Microsoft's repair site and ordered my 360's coffin by clicking a few buttons. It was a very smooth process and I hope to get my 360 back by the end of the month. I've heard of some horror stories dealing with support and download content. Hopefully this won't be an issue with me and I will be back gaming soon. I'll keep the blog updated with how my support process is going.
I received my coffin last night and shipped my 360 to Microsoft free via 3 day UPS. This past couple days has really sucked. I have Orange Box sitting on a shelf unwrapped and have been watching horrible TV the last couple days. I think I may break down and buy a PS2 and play God of War or something.
