Xbox Originals coming to the Xbox 360

Microsoft has recently announced a new set of items will be coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace, games originally developed for the Xbox.  On December 5th, you will be able to download games like Fable, Halo, Dead or Alive 3 and Crimson Skies onto your Xbox 360.   These games will be saved on your hard drive and will take up around 3 GB of space.  These titles plus more will be available for 1200 MS points or $15 in the US.

This news has been out there for a while but I have not been interested one bit in this new feature.  These games will just be the same as any other backwards compatible title.  There will be no achievements or additional content in the games.  So really if you own Halo, the download will play exactly the same as putting in the game disk.

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't add any new features like online multiplayer or achievements.  I will not be downloading any of these games and really do not see any reason to buy these games.  You can find all of these titles in the used bins at your local GameStop for much less.
