Here is the best way people can let Epic know that jumping off the Microsoft band wagon is a bad idea.  Last week you may not have noticed but Epic's Unreal Tournament 3 was released for the PS3 and PC.  This console exclusive will eventually come to the Xbox 360 but Epic and Sony made a deal to allow user created content onto the PS3 Network. 

Ever since Microsoft and Epic had their tiff over the cost of maps on Xbox Live Epic has been trying to stick it to Microsoft.  Epic signed a nice deal with Sony to make Unreal Tournament 3 a console exclusive for 6 months on the PS3.  Epic has decide to not create any new download content for Gears of War even though the PC version of the game contains extra content.  It has been rumored that Gears of War 2 will come out this Fall on the Xbox 360 but future installments will also be available on the PS3.

Unreal Tournament 3's first week of sales was 70,000 copies which placed it 25th on the US charts.  To give you perspective Super Mario Galaxy in it's 5th week placed 3rd selling 185,000 copies.  Finishing 25th in their first week is pretty bad and suggests the game will not do very well.  I hope that money from Sony helps make up for the lackluster sales.
