So I'm back home and I'm playing Halo 3 online.  I have to say I do enjoy Halo 3 multiplayer more than any other game and am working my way up the rankings.  I'm currently a 27 at Lone Wolf and in the 20s at Team Slayer.  What I have been placed into a lot is Battle Rifle matches.  It seems to me that this gun is not as powerful as it used to be in Halo 2. 

One thing I think Halo 3 goes very well is bring the multiplayer combat back to the Halo:Combat Evolved model.  Halo 3 online is a lot more about the proper use of grenades and the minimizing dual welding weapons.  I find that I almost never look to pick up a dual welding gun but do hunt down grenades during matches.

One think I do like about playing Lone Wolf in Halo 3 is the fact all players are muted in game.  I'm all about not wearing a headset and instead listening to music while I play.  I tend to only wear a headset now in team games.  Seems not many people bother talking in those games either though.  I could wear the headset and just stream the audio but I;m not interested in that option just yet.
