Our neighbors to the north are getting a price cut on Microsoft's favorite game console.  The Xbox 360 Pro will drop from $399 to $349 to fall more in line with the current US price.  The Elite will drop to $449 and the Arcade will drop to $279.  This is a smart move to adjust the price to take into account the struggling US dollar.  One can only hope Microsoft decided to do the same for the Europe considering the 399 euros is about 587 US dollars.  That's a $188 tax placed on the European Xbox 360. 

Now this may be Xbox Canada taking into account the drop in value of the US dollar or it maybe Xbox Canada just cutting the price of the console before Xbox NA.  It might seem funny but not all of these divisions work together on these items.  We just saw a price drop for Japan on the Arcade model a couple weeks ago.  Maybe that Xbox Canada didn't want to wait till April to cut their price?
