Why is is you only hear about these issues coming out of Microsoft?  Here is another case of Microsoft's console repair service doing something to make people shake their head.  A guy who bought a launch Xbox 360 finally got the red ring of death and when he got his system back found a surprise waiting for him in the box.

You see this guy loved his Xbox 360 and took it with him.  Over time he got several signatures from Xbox Live team, Bungie and Rooster Teeth.  One of the Rooster Teeth guys had drawn a cool Master Chief on the console.  Essentially he had probably a console that one day could be a collector's item with all the artwork and signatures. Then he sent it to McAllen, Texas.

I can't believe anyone would actually do something like this.  At first I thought maybe they just didn't give him the same case as before but it clearly looks like someone cleaned his console.  This really is a horrible mistake because there is no way for him to get all these signatures again.  I don't know how Microsoft will be able to make it up to this guy.  It's just another black eye for Microsoft customer support.
