Bargain Shopping HD-DVDs
Once the announcement came out that Warner Brothers Home Video was dropping support for HD-DVD I decide to stop buying any new movies. Then the news that Toshiba was dropping their support for HD-DVD and the format was was completely over I know I had some high priced coasters in my house. Then the prices started to fall and then I figured why not buy a few more movies, it's not like my HD-DVD add on was doing to flake out. Heck, for $50 I could buy a spare.
So while I couldn't do much on Sunday, cause I was still not feeling well, I did hopped on Amazon.com and bought some fairly cheap HD-DVDs. Now that the format is dead the movies all run somewhere from $12-$18 a movie. So I decide to pick up some cheap HD movies. Most of the movies were at the $13 price point and one was at $18. I bought Kocked Up, Old School, Anchorman, 40 year Old Virgin and American Gangster.
My 360 HD-DVD add on is not going anywhere so why not buy some movies. I may down the road buy a dual BluRay/HD-DVD player like the one Samsunghas on the market once the price goes down. I'm hunting for the best price for this player right now.
