Oldies but Goodies

So ever since I finished Ninja Gaiden II I've been thinking about what will be my next game to play.  I got Lair and Condemned 2 from GameFly but neither one is really appealing to me.  I've sent back Condemned 2 after getting into an alley fight with some bums I just couldn't seem to get past.  Lair has yet to grace my PS3.  Instead I've been playing some Forza 2, Gears of War and DOA4.  I even managed to earn another achievement in DOA4 while I was playing last night.

It was nice to pull out the wheel and actually use it in Forza.  It's been a while since I've used the wheel and it took a little while to get used to playing with the wheel.  It wasn't too long though until I started passing time trials and was driving well.

I decided to throw DOA4 in the 360 and started working on the unlocking more costumes for the fighters.  I had been working on this for a fairly long time but stopped after fighting a few matches against Alpha.  If you've never played DOA4 or had to fight the final boss then you have never experienced one of the cheapest bosses ever.  The fact she can teleport behind you or has a combo that will take 1/3 of your health is a bit annoying.  Since most characters require you to beat her to unlock the costume it gets a little annoying.

Lastly while shopping to buy a cover for my Zune I decided to buy a new game.  Well I figured I'd get Battlefield:Bad Company but it seems this game is a bit more popular than expected.  The standard edition was sold out and only one copy of the limited edition was there.  Considering there were maybe 50 copies of Ninja Gaiden 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 it seems Best Buy is not doing a great job predicting which games will sell out.  So I bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 which I'll probably write about later in the week.
