One of my favorite things to do is ready my copy of EGM in the bathroom while I give the kids a bath.  This often ends up with my magazine getting a bit wet but I can normally read through a story or two.  On Saturday night I ended up reading their story on the new star wars game.  The premise of this game is it takes place between the two trilogies after Vader has turned to the dark side.  You play as his secrete apprentice, hunting down Jedi and doing other stuff.  Unlike other star wars games you are a very strong with the force and get some of the cooler force powers very early in the game.  This game is coming out on every device known to man but the core of the game is developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3.  The PS2, Wii and DS version will all have some special feature for thier game that is not available on other systems.

Reading about this game got me really excited and I ended up watching the Trilogy Saturday night.  I thew them in the 360's HD-DVD player and enjoyed them in their upscaled glory.  They did look really good even though they are SD movies.  I've been wondering when they will be releasing the movies in high definition but considering I actually own all but the second movie of new trilogy, I think I'll pass on buying them when they do come out.  Unless Lucus puts some magic in those new releases I don't see the reason.
