So the home brew crowd has done it again and managed to unlock the potential of your home console.  This time around they have a  software that will allow your Wii to play DVD movies and some select media off of a SD card.  It's not idea as say watching a movie on other game consoles or a DVD player but might be nice if you want to ditch your DVD player.  The simplicity of they little mod is what is interesting since it seems all that is missing from the Wii is a video player software.  If you have a Wii check out the links below to see how this all works.
