What can I say, I'll still playing Too Human. Kind of sad but it took me about three weeks to figure out how the Runes and Charms work. You will pick up runes and charms from the loots drop monuments you find scattered in the game. I knew you could add runes to weapons and armor to improve your characters attributes like sword damage or experience boosts. What I really didn't understand is charms.
At any one moment you can carry 22 charms and have only two active. All charms have some quest requirements like kill 100 enemies with a runier or activate 5 wells. Every charm also has the ability to insert specific other completed charms or runes. A charm may show three to five symbols on it that relate to other charms and runes. Once you have inserted all the right items the charm is completed. On each charm the symbols will change color if they have an item inserted with that symbol.
There are three levels of charms and level 1 charms require you to insert runes into them. Level 2 charms require you to insert completed level 1 charms and level 3 charms require completed level 2 charms be inserted into them. My goal is to get a level three charm completed. Unfortunately on my level 50 character I have a couple level 3 charms but not enough completed level 2 or level 1 charms. Often I'd just complete the quest part then delete the charm to get new charms not knowing I needed to insert them into a higher level charm.
So I'm still playing Too Human, starting over as a human berserker completing charm quests in an attempt to get that level 3 charm completed. I am also in the hunt for some Elite armor. I'm still not 100% sure how you gain elite armor but so far I have 4 items across two characters. I just got two items after completing my second run through Hall of Heroes with my human berserker. I'm hoping to get a complete seven piece set but this armor is crazy expensive to create. I'm sure I'll have to do several runs just to earn enough bounty to craft all these items.
Next week I should be getting Metal gear Solid 4 so I'll be sure to talk about my experience with that game. I shipped back Phantom Hourglass because I almost went a week without picking it up. I rather just play Super Mario on the DS when I feel like it. I'll eventually pick that up again and finish it off.
