Some bugs in games are just annoying, some bugs are barely noticeable and some bugs are just going to hit 2 or 3 percent of the users so they don't get fixed.  In Fable 2 I have been hit by the Love Hurts bug where I've completed 95% of the quest but for some reason I can not finish the quest.  You see this is one of those classic fetch quests where I have to go find three items and return them to some dude.  It seems once I've found the third item the guy forgets I started doing any of the quests for him and I can't give him the last item.  To say the least this bug totally sucks.

The Love Hurst quest is all about digging up the body parts of Lady Grey, the mayor of Bowerstone from the first Fable game.  When she dies it seems the folks decided to bury her body in three different locations.  I've been able to give the guy her lower and upper torso but I can't seem to give him her head.  I think what happened was during the quest to retrieve Lady Grey's head I was informed that my daughter was in trouble so I got the head and then went to save my daughter from the hobs.  I wonder what would happened if I had not ran off to saved my daughter and instead gave the head to the guy first then went off to save my daughter.   

What really annoys me is that I need to complete this quest to open up another quest.  On the next quest I find the last silver key I'm looking for.  I'm walking around with 49 silver keys and I have all but three gargoyles to discover.  It seems the quest I can not unlock will give me access to the last key and another two gargoyles to shoot.   This means there are two 25 point achievements I will not be able to unlock because of this bug.  My only option seems to be hope that Lionhead patches the game which is  not likely or start over again.  I've spent 24 hours of game time on this one character so to put that kind of commitment just to gain the 50 achievement points is not going to happen.   it's a pity because this experience really has soured me on what has been an excellent game.
