Seven Hours of Co-Op Gears
Since I've been on holiday the entire week of Christmas I went over to a friends house to play co-op Gears of War 2. It was a seven hour marathon session were we played split screen through all of the first four acts and half way through the fifth and final act. By 12:30 we called it quits deciding it would be another couple hours to complete the entire game.
Now the first Gears of War was short enough that you could play the entire game in one sitting if you knew what you were doing. The game is significantly easier playing co-op since you can flank your enemies are draw fire away from someone else.
Gears 2 is a longer game and we probably would have been able to make it through the entire game if I had not gotten lost going to his house. He gave me some horrible instructions and I neglected to have a charged cell phone or print out the Google Maps directions. Still playing gears co-op is a lot of fun and I'm definitely up for some more co-op gaming for those that are interested. Once nice feature is you don't both have to play on the same difficulty. That should make playing the game co-op a lot more enjoyable for all.
