Epic has announced that there is now a patch to fix the multiple glitches found in the Gears of War 2 multiplayer.  It's actually a really long laundry list of issues that I'm not going to bother listing out.  Check out the link below for all the details of your interested.  What I do like about this patch is it comes with achievements.  There are a total of 175 achievement points available to earn playing the two download map packs.  

What I don't like is the achievement points seem to be biased toward Wingman and Annex.  These are arguably the two worst game types to play.  The break down is 40 for Horde,  60 for Wingman and 75 for Annex.  I think Horde is a great mode to play and think everyone should give this a try but the other two suck.  Annex is a stupid territories game type where you capture an area and earn points then the area moves to another spot.  Wingman is a 2v2v2v2v2 mode which is only good if you have a partner who knows what they are doing.  I have had few quality games with this mode.
