What to play?

So I'm back in town and am looking for a new game to pickup.  I've been trying to play Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 for the PS3 but neither one really has been too appealing.  I've picked up The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3 and am not that impressed with how soft this expansion turned out to be.  It's a fairly small area to explore and a short series of quests with a few more bugs than desired.

I'm not sure if I should pick up Resident Evil 5 or give Halo Wars a try.  Both games have done well at retail and I've heard good things about both games.  I've never played a Resident Evil game and I've never played many RTS games so I'm hesitant to pick up either one.  I'm thinking I'll pick up Ninja Blade on the April 7 for the 360.  That may be a rental depending on how the reviews turn out.

After two consecutive years filled with top notch games it looks like 2009 is going to be a bit of a dud.  From looking at the game release calender at GameStop.com it's clear there are no big games coming out in April or May and I doubt we'll see anything worth while over the summer.  It might be one of those years I'm playing more online shooters than new games.  It might be such a dry release calender I'll be playing both Halo Wars and Resident Evil 5 over the summer months.
