Medicus Swing Trainer

About five or six years ago I made the decision to improve my golf game.  I wasn't sure if I should find a pro and start taking lessons again or buy a training tool.  A friend of mine was taking lessons with no visible improvement to me so I decided to buy a Medicus dual hinge 5iron swing trainer.  By far this one tool dramatically improved my golf game.

Now the Medicus out of the box will not drastically improve your game.  For me I had to adjust the hinges so that it was easier for the club to break.  I also would add that I used to swing this club several times a week.  I kept the club near my grill and would swing the club while I was cooking.  I also would take then club to the range and hit balls with the club.  If the club breaks you'll never hit the ball so you have to make a good swing.  I found this improved my iron play to the point where I was easily breaking 100 and even shot sevral rounds in the low eighties.

This spring I borrowed the club to a friend and have been looking at the Medicus driver.  I recently purchased the driver with a gift card I received.  I immediately adjusted the hinge and noticed a flaw in my swing.  I was not keeping my left arm fully extended at the top of my swing which lead to me closing the club face at the top.  I'm going to have to take the club to the range and see how this adjustment affects my drives.
