Over the weekend I downloaded the Brutal Legend demo off Xbox Live.  Brutal Legend is a game that features Jack Black as the main character so if you're not a fan of his this game is probably not for you.  Jack Black plays a roadie for a pop-heavy metal band and suffers an accident that some how sends him to some other dimension where rock kills monsters.  Just roll with it, it's a video game.

 

The game is pretty funny and I really enjoyed the playing the demo.  The game has some hack and slash action along with magic where you strum a guitar to kill monsters.  The hack and slash action does get supplemented by some driving game play and some music game play where you have to hit specific notes.  I suggest downloading this game on the Xbox 360 or PS3 and give the demo a try.  I think you'll probably have a good time.
