It's been a while but I'm gradually finding time to play games on my 360 again.  I've been working hard on my android phone app but as the saying goes: work hard, play hard.  My play list isn't as deep as it should be.  There are a ton of great games coming out and I'm still playing last year's titles.

I'm grinding my way BioShock 2 on the xbox 360 right now.  The first BioShock was a cool experience full of cool experiences and a nice twist in the middle of the game.  So far I can't say the same about the follow up.  It's a nice game but doesn't really add much more to the experience. There is a multiplayer mode but I can't see that really taking off.  The story line is very linear and does not allow for you to back track around areas.  I liked the exploring aspect of BioShock and that is very limited in the sequel.

I played a little Gears of War 2 this past weekend.  My network was a bit flaky for some reason but it's been a while since I've played online.  I needed to adjust my NAT settings I guess.  It was a good session of online play playing Wingman with a bot partner.  I think the bots are gradually getting better in Gears2 which makes for some better game play.  Hopefully we'll start playing more often.

I have some interest in playing the Halo reach multiplayer beta but it's not strong enough to actually get me in yet.  I think I have a few more days and will try to get in some games.  So far it doesn't look that much better than Halo 3's multiplayer.  In my book Halo 3 multiplayer has fallen behind in the graphics department compared to Gears or Modern Warfare.  Maybe Reach will fix this for them.
